Have an entire lake all to yourself!!! Medicine Stone Resort is located on Upper Medicine Stone Lake, 15 miles west of Red Lake, in Northwestern Ontario. The main resort has the unique opportunity of being secluded, yet still accessible by road (private). In other words, we offer fly-in quality at a drive-in price. In addition to the drive-in resort, guests have the option of staying at one of three remote outpost locations. Fishing opportunities include trophy walleye, northern pike and lake trout.

Northern Pike: Trophy northern pike fishing is available at all resort and outpost locations. Pike anglers will quickly fall in love with Trophy Lake outpost.

Walleye: All resort and outpost locations provide the opportunity for trophy walleye fishing. Expect many over 20". Thrill of a lifetime when you haul them in, one after another!

Trout / Lake Trout: Upper and Lower Medicine Stone Lakes (accessible from drive-in resort), as well as Kitty Hawk/Cornpicker Outpost have lake trout fishing opportunities. A special treat for those who have never tried!!

Black Bear: Huge bear management unit. Colour phases range from light brown to black. 3rd largest black bear in North America taken from Red Lake area, 700+ lbs. Bag a bear, then go fishing for trophy walleye and northern pike! What a life!

Boat Rentals / Fishing Boats: Boat/motor/fuel are included in the price of an outpost package. Boats at the main resort can be rented at extra cost. Walleye and lake trout fishing w/guide is also available at extra cost at our drive-in resort.

Boat Launches: Fish for trophy walleye and northern pike from the convenience of your own boat. Guests launch and dock boats at no extra cost. Boats provided at fly-in outposts.

Cabin Rentals: Rent a cabin along the shore of a wilderness lake. Enjoy some of the best fishing in North America.

Fly In Access: Have an entire lake all to yourself !!! Choose from one of three remote fly-in outpost locations. Trophy walleye, lake trout and northern pike fishing. Comfortable housekeeping cabins on remote lakes.

Housekeeping Cabins: Outposts and resort have large, modern, comfortable housekeeping cabins w/shower, flush toilet and hot water. Solar power, propane fridge, freezer and cooking stove. Wood stove for cool nights. Rest well for walleye and pike fishing the next day!
